Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenter – Lower Mainland, BC
We are hiring Apprentice and Journeyman Carpenters for the Trans Mountain Expansion Project in the Lower Mainland, BC. In this position, the carpenters will be responsible for installing form work, embedding plates, rigging with cranes and understanding/reading drawings.
There is no LOA or accommodations for this position. Must be local or willing to relocate without LOA. Shift is Monday – Friday, 10 hour days. Must be willing to work Saturdays as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2nd year apprentice or Journeyman Carpenter certification
- Experience with concrete and formwork
Additional information
- Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a Surehire Drug and Alcohol and Fit for Work test
- This is a local position; with no LOA available.
- There is a shuttle to and from job site (Burnaby Terminal)
Project Information
The Trans Mountain Expansion project includes 35km of pipeline from Langley to Burnaby and includes four terminals. This is a multi-billion project that is estimated to take at least 3 years to complete.
